De Women's Prize for Fiction wordt in 2023 voor de achtentwintigste keer georganiseerd om Engelstalige fictie geschreven door vrouwen van over de hele wereld voor het voetlicht te zetten. Op de longlist staan 16 romans, van nieuwe boeken door eerdere winnaars tot debuten en rijzende sterren.

Naast juryvoorzitter Louise Michin wordt de jury bevolkt door auteurs Rachel Joyce, Bella Mackie, Irenosen Okojie en parlementslid Tulip Siddiq. Zij zullen uit de longlist een shortlist van zes boeken samenstellen, die op 26 april bekendgemaakt wordt. De winnaar van de Women's Prize for Fiction 2023 zal op 14 juni bekendgemaakt worden.
