Dissapointing

DNF at 50 pages.
I wanted to like this one. It’s such a beautiful book on the outside.
It started quite well. The story has potential, but is executed and edited so, so badly. Such a shame. The FMC is annoying, the sidecharacters are bland and the scenes that are supposed to be tense are boring. Too much tell instead of show. Then there were the unrealistic things, like popping a joint back and having no pain whatsoever. I gave up, because the dialoge felt more and more forced. Too bad.
