Good

The lost apothecary; is it worth the read? YES. This really is a genre I wouldn’t normally pick but the story was consistent but maybe a bit slow. It has two storylines; one that plays out in the late 1700’s and one in the present. The apothecary was in use in the late 1700’s not only for woman’s maladies but also to buy poison, discretely. The business came crumbling down when Nella had one wrong client. In the present day world, Caroline is dead set on finding this apothecary and what happened.
