Magische matcha
In The Magical Matcha Tea Shop we meet Grace with a broken engagement and an unpaid wedding dress as she returns to live with her parents in Lavender Hollow. There’s a month of eating, crying and napping before her mother suggests she find a new job. After making herself look presentable, Grace goes to the high street and starts asking around. After a few “we’re sorry, but no” she comes across final storefront: the teashop called ‘Matcha Made in Heaven’.

Highlights
- Cosy small-town romance
- Magic matcha
- A swoon-worthy love interest
- Well-developed relationships
The Magical Matcha Tea Shop grabs your attention from the prologue and doesn’t let it go. It is the perfect small-town romance to read while winter is making way for spring. A cozy romance mixed with magic and just the right amount of spice. The characters are extremely likeable, and I found myself rooting for Grace through her personal journey. The relationships are well-developed and the chemistry between Grace and Max is off the charts. The way the magic is steeped into the novel is wonderful, there’s a clear appreciation for the art that is preparing matcha.
Thank you @themagicalmatchateashop & @natashabache_author for the arc and the delightful story.
