Dark trauma
People with little children, I warn you, this is not a book you want to read. I know our filthy world is corrupt but what you will read in this story will traumatize you a little, or a lot. This is definitely what sticked to me after finishing this book. Not the 'dark romance' but the 'bad world' we live in.
I get why people are obsessing over Zade and Addie. But this really is not a healthy obsession and the relation between these two is really weird.
This book is a quick read, I like the writing style.
But, after reading the warnings for book 2 and some reviews, I have decided I will not read the sequel.
