I didn't really like the actually large amount of explicit scenes in the book

NeuROMANCEr 24 augustus 2025
Nora, a woman in her thirties, is obsessed with her job, a workaholic, according to her sister, Libby, mom of two children, pregnant of a third one. Since she's a literary agent, Nora gets to meet Charlie, a cynical, annoying editor, and she instantly starts to hate him, until Libby takes her on a trip to Sunshine Falls, the small town where Nora's best selling client's book takes place. But one thing Nora didn't knew is that Charlie lives there, and they keep running into each other.

This book was a lighthearted summer read, I enjoyed it! But still, some of the jokes weren't that good (maybe my English isn't that good lol) but other ones got me rolling on the floor, like the "LION!" one (you'll get what I mean when you'll read the book). Still, I felt like Nora's character was a bit cliché (the "I'm too obsessed with my job to fall in love" type of protagonist) and I didn't really like the actually large amount of explicit scenes in the book. I mean, I'm only fiveteen, and I don't really like sex scenes.

Overall, the novel was lighthearted, funny, and all around books, obviously.
