Are you happy with your life?

If I'd have a nickel for every time I read a story about a man transporting in an alternate universe where he made different choices, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I feel like I read this exact plot in a fanfiction years ago. The concept itself isn't really new I feel like, but Dark Matter works it out in a way that's refreshing. From the very beginning I knew what this book was going to be about, which makes the "mystery" aspect of it less thrilling. I kind of struggled getting through the first few hundred pages. But the moment the story turned into travelling between world, I really enjoyed it.
The last chapter was kinda cheesy and unrealistic though, but satisfactory.
