Taking its title from the words of Dorothy Wordsworth, Companions of Nature expands on the Lake Poets brotherhood of William Wordsworth,Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey, to include their contemporaries and their descendants. It presents works of the famous 'Lakers' alongside Cumbrian dialect poets, combining prominent and neglected voices.
