Who hasn't seen the film Titanic or the book Wuthering Heights and who isn't familiar with Olga and Erik from Turkish delight, who are head over heels in love? But when we try to fathom what love and infatuation are at their core, we often fall silent. The ancient, wise Greeks described infatuation as a temporary form of madness, and when you awoke from this semi-comatose state, you saw things much more clearly again. Philosophers hardly dared to approach this phenomenon. Nevertheless, Frank decided to give it a try, partly on the basis of historical lovers. The happy couple Francesco and Bianca de Medici served as a model.
