Tokunaga is young, broke, self conscious and a manzai comedian. Kamiya is an older, more established, frequently drunk and seemingly without any inhibitions whatsoever. They are both desperate to succeed, but will they have to abandon their comedic ideals along the way? Spark is by turns hilarious and bizarre, sad and beautiful.
