Starlite Pulp has reissued Townsley's classic Los Angeles noir tale, introducing hard-boiled antihero Sonny Haynes.

Los Angeles, 1950: Ex-cop Sonny Haynes has lost too many battles--to the mob, to the LAPD brass, to the whiskey bottle, and, finally, to the killer of his wife. He returns to LA a wanted man and finds in the city a surrogate teenage daughter now orphaned and a briefcase filled with the possibility of absolution. What follows is a sort of regeneration through violence, some fractal path towards forgiveness loaded in A Trunk Full of Zeroes.
