Sarah and Matthew meet at University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Despite their many differences, they soon find common ground and slowly build a deep relationship. Although they experience many happy moments together, life is not only smooth sailing. They come to face situations that neither has an answer to nor has any influence on. Can they hold on to what they have so carefully built up? Will they ever truly understand that the differences in their upbringing and characters have programmed them to deal with life in their own - sometimes incompatible - ways?
