Pembroke

This book gives a historical perspective of a very small community just outside of New Bern, North Carolina called Pembroke. Although very little information regarding the history of Pembroke was recorded and documented, much of the information was provided by individuals and sources from that neighborhood. Additionally, much of the information noted in this book was passed down from sources of several generations. A powerful historical account of a people who believed in great family values and hard work.
