The Strange Library

A young boy finds himself wondering how taxes were collected in the Ottoman Empire, so he visits the library to see if they have a book on the subject. This is his first mistake. Led to a special ‘reading room’ by a strange old man, he finds himself imprisoned with two very unusual companions. Fully illustrated and beautifully designed, this wonderfully creepy tale will delight all Murakami fans.
