The Three Musketeers is set in seventeenth century France and is the story of a young man, d'Artagnan, who leaves home to join the Musketeers of the Guard. He becomes friends with Athos, Porthos, and Aramis who become inseparable and live by the motto "all for one, one for all".

The story continued in Twenty Years After, The Vicomte of Bragelonne, Ten Years Later, Louise de La Vallière and The Man in the Iron Mask. This is a must have for any d'Artagnan fan.
