The Reappearance of Rachel Price: a bit all over the place
WARNING: spoilers ahead!
I found it difficult to review this book because there are many positive but also negative things. It reads very quickly and yet I didn't have the urge to pick up the book often until we got to the grandfather's birthday party. There are many twists, although most are quite predictable, which keep the pace moving. There is a hint of romance, but I think I either would have liked to see more of it (love Ash) or nothing at all, although on the other hand, it does fit the storyline & character of the main character. The biggest reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the ending: it remains unclear to me why Charlie insisted on killing Rachel and it is very quickly back to "business as usual" after hiding 2 bodies & chasing away the 'mom'/ aunt. My review is a bit all over the place, but I actually had that feeling about the book too.
