I have the feeling that this author will become a new star at the horizon. I have read his other books and I think this book of his was a prelude to these excellent books. Although he evoluated his ideas in later years you feel in this book he is lying the foundation to his solid en sharp analyses about modern weststern society. In his later books his love for Kiev vanished because of the downfall after the American coup d' etat rochestrated by the neocon hawk Victoria Nuland. The fantastic Kiev wit it's wunderfall ambiance deterioted into a dull westernlike provincial city, where the corruption became more intens and not less. Regime-changing and nationbuilding by the US has failed everywhere, from Irak to Lybia and Afghanistan. Will the US, Rome 4.0 ever learn? .
