Lezersrecensie
That’s Not My Name by Megan Lally
This YA thriller completely pulled me in. You really feel the youthfulness of the characters. The drive, the confusion, the frustration, the urgency. Every chapter pushes the story forward and makes you want to know more
The dual POV works so well and keeps the tension going, even if some of the plot twists were not super surprising. The villain storyline could have had more depth, but honestly, it did not ruin the experience for me.
I listened to this while working on a jigsaw puzzle and it was the most relaxing, cozy vibe ever Despite the darker themes, the pacing made it impossible to stop. Finished it in just two days.
Also, can we talk about the cover? Absolutely lovely And bonus points for being LGBTQIA+ friendly
A perfect pick to kick off the Ten Day Bookclub with a strong 5/5 read.
