This book is a bit different from the other books in this genre I read lately. In the other books there was more humor and this one was a bit darker to read. This book was a bit darker. This is an honest book, a book about searching, finding and being yourself, about hurt, friendship, trust and love.

Felix doesn't have an easy life. He is trans and is a boy now, but also doubting about what he really is. He is living with his father, because his mother left them when he was 10 years old and never got in contact with him again. His father does support Felix, but also has to get used to not having a daughter anymore.
Felix spends a lot of his time at his best friend Ezra's place.

While Felix is in this vulnerable state, somebody puts out old photos of him in the gallery of his school with his deadname with it. From that moment on, Felix wants to find out who did it and things start to happen in his life. He takes steps and grows, but also finds out things about Declan and Ezra.
