2019 BOOKISH RESOLUTIONS
A happy new year everyone!
It's already 2019, which is so weird to think about. It feels like yesterday that I found out about the genre called Young Adult! But it was not yesterday! I've been reading Young Adult for about three/four years now.
It's not that I had never read any YA books before 2015, because in 2013 I read 'The Fault in our Stars' by John Green for my Dutch class. But in 2015 I read a YA book called 'Remember to Forget' by Ashley Royer and that's when I fell in love with the genre.
Just like last year, I joined the Goodreads reading challenge. I set my goal to 25 books. In 2018 I read 22 books, instead of my 30-books goal, so I think I should be able to read three more! I will also try to keep up with my reading progress on here. I still have to translate all of my Goodreads reviews on here, so that all of the Hebban members will be able to fully understand my thoughts on the books I've read.
Now, let's get on with the bookish resolutions!
In 2019 I'm planning to buy less books. I have a huge TBR and I really want to read all of those poor, abandoned books. I also want to read the books I couldn't get through like 'Divergent' and 'Paper Towns'. I have never DNF'ed a book, so I won't DNF those two either!
My other resolution is to find more time to read. I am always very busy and most of the time I don't have the time to read. But this year I will try to fit it into my schedule!
My last resolution is to post more blogs. So far, I've written two blog posts, which is not a lot.
