A lovely story about being different and friendship!

Bonnie Grubman wrote the beautifull and loving story about the little gorilla named Albert.
Albert is different. His feet are bigger, way bigger than the feet of all the other gorilla's. Altough his parents tell him that he is perfect, with his feet. Perfect just the way he is. That is not how Albert feels. He sees himself as a burgon to his friends. But luckily his friend Rex shows Albert, that he indeed is perfect, just the way he is.

This lovely story is about being different, but there's more. It's about growing up, about being loved and about friendship. It shows that for the right friends it doesn't really matter that your different. And besides that it shows that everything can be made in an adventage.

This makes this book perfect for kindergarten. The beautifull pictures are amazing, they look so natural but are funny as well. The complete picture makes it a perfect story for children ages 4 and up!
