Lovely story with multiple POVs

I loved the story of Catherine and Jean-Luc. The secrecy, the love and the representation of Napoleon history in their love story was wonderful. The other stories I was less invested in. I loved the idea of following multiple story lines in one village, but due to the third point of view and relatively short chapters I was switching a lot which confused me. The story is very well written and I loved the headstrongness of Eloise. Overall, I really liked the story, but it just didn't blow me away. Maybe when I reread I will remember the different story lines better which will make me more invested in the total story.
