This book was such a good read! I have read many fantasy novels and this one came as a real surprise. The world-building is amazing, it has unique beings in it, and the writing style is flowing and fast paced, so I had to go on reading to find out what was going on. I loved Marina: she comes across as a real person you can feel for. She has lost everything and now has to be someone she never thought she would be. The book is filled with action, drama, survival, overcoming grief.

Of the Sun and Sea is an epic fantasy novel unlike anything I have read before. If you want to read a different fantasy novel, with a great FMC, a great story-line and wonderful world-building, this is the book you want to read.
