I had quite the slow start when I started this but I just couldn’t put it down when I was halfway the story. Even though it was a bit predictable I was still intrigued. We follow Ruby Johnson who used to live on West 74th street in NYC and she’s a housekeeper for the rich residents. When she is on her way home she witnesses a neighbour getting shot in her home, she knows the killer and calls 911 but she keeps the truth hidden. An anonymous tip points the direction to another neighbour whom is a caring devoted loving husband and a father of a son. While evidence is piling up, Eddie believes he’s innocent and tries to do everything in his power to clear the man’s name. Just as his other books I loved reading this one as well.
