The hyperactive mind is a strong concept

I can relate to most of the ideas and general argumentation in this book, but still had a hard time finishing it. At some points, Newport is making a strong and convincing case (e.g. about the autonomy of knowledge workers and its limitations), but at others he just seems to be very verbose and repeating himself. The hyperactive mind is a strong concept that can help shape the dialogue with your co-workers, about more effective communication processes. I would like to recommend it to my colleagues for the content, but feel reluctant because it is quite tough to get through.
