Lezersrecensie
a day at the beach
During a days at the beach Nick notices that Charlie’s eating disorder is real and is getting worse instead of better. It’s something that makes Charlie feel like he’s in control of everything when it feels like everything’s spinning out of control. He convinces Charlie to tell his parents. Charlie even becomes an institutionalized for a while. During this time Nick and Charlie are long distance. But Charlie comes out of it better and stronger in december. He’s diagnosed with anorexia and ocd. Nick sees his father for the first time in a year and comes out to him. He’s almost outed by his brother David.
