An entertaining surprise!

I believe this was the author's debut thriller and it must be very difficult to get noticed among the thousands of thrillers that appear each year. However, based on what I have just read, I believe Jeneva Rose deserves a place among the many good thriller authors.

Why did I enjoy it? Well, the story is original, the characters are believable (nobody is completely blameless) and although there are quite a few unexpected twists, I never got the feeling that it was over the top. I hate plot twists that are so outrageous, you could never imagine it happening in real life. Admittedly the final plot was a bit far fetched, but I still enjoyed this book very much.
