Rembrandt and Lucia

Kind & Jeugd

Lucia lives in Amsterdam, near the busy harbor. Her father is a sailor and travels all over the world. He is away from home for long periods of time in search of distant shores. When he comes home, he always has the most wonderful stories to tell. But no matter how beautiful those stories are, Lucia would still rather keep her father close. One day, when he is about to embark on another journey, Lucia comes up with a plan. If she had a portrait of her father, she would always have him with her, wherever he is. And the famous painter Rembrandt just happens to live quite near Lucia ...
