The Lake Isle of Innisfree

This book contains two poems by the Irish Poet, William Butler Yeats and is illustrated with paintings by Jack Butler Yeats, an expressionist painter and brother to the poet. The Lake Isle of Innisfree contains simple imagery about the quiet ife the poet would like to lead. He thinks about this life even when he is on the busy streets of the city. The Song of Wandering Aengus is a metephorical poem about the search for love. An image of the poets love comes to him when he is a young man. Even as an old traveled man he still is searching, and hopes to find, his love.
