Entertaining Romance
First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison is an entertaining romance novel, a slow burn love story between Aiden and Lucie.
The story stood out thanks to its unique setting in a radio station and the way it began, with Lucie’s daughter calling into Aiden’s radio show. I also really enjoyed the snippets of dialogue during the show.
It was definitely a slow burn, which took some getting used to for me, and personally, I would’ve preferred the pace to be a bit faster. At times, I also felt the characters and their development lacked some depth.
That said, I would absolutely recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun romance. This was my first book by B.K. Borison, and I’m definitely interested in reading more.
