Cool Magic System
When Skye goes in search of her missing brother in A Voice of Silver and Blood by Miranda Martin, she encounters Faelan, who tells her she is the one who can help him overrule the evil Vampire Queen. But she also meets someone who may be her enemy, or maybe not.
This was a nice fantasy novel, with a somewhat difficult plot, but with a good story-line and a cool magic system and world-building. Sometimes it was a bit slow, but the more I read, the more I became immersed into the story of Skye. She is struggling with her powers in a dark world and who she is. You can relate to her. She gets help from an exiled Fae King and a Vampire, both who claim they will keep her safe. But can she trust them?
A Voice of Silver and Blood is a cool and intriguing fantasy novel, with an unique magic system and a novel I can recommend.
