How Many Elves is Too Many?

At Christmastime, an elf arrived,
but very soon I knew
one little elf was not enough
and so I needed . . . two!

Two . . . three . . . four . . . or even ten little elves might be lots of fun - but busy, busy elves are just so silly!
Perhaps just one very special elf is the perfect friend at Christmas.
