Caperton's life has been filled with both amazing and deplorable people, charming and not so charming animals, frightening and joyous events.
She has always been active in progressive causes once pulling an outrageous stunt to talk with Mario Cuomo about an environmental issue. She was active in the anti-war movement and lived close tot New York when the twin towers went down.
