Storm in my thoughts is a book about the life of Emma in which OCD and an obsession for hygiene took over her life completely. From a young age she has been looking for control, for a way to deal with life. She finds control in OCD and hygiene, but at the same time her normal life is taken away from her. Emma wants to give more insight into this debilitating illness and wants to create more understanding for invisible illnesses like this one. Starting a dialogue without having to be ashamed of it. In her book she takes you with her in how OCD slowly took over her life and how she did everything to recover from it. A sad, painful, long but hopeful journey.
