Three stars.

I really liked the characters individually, but together I didn’t feel a strong connection. Taylor’s relationship with Coner’s roommates was funny, and I laughed out loud several times. I actually enjoyed Coner more as a side character in The Play. (book three)

I could relate to Taylor’s insecurities, and I appreciated how the book thoughtfully explored the theme of body positivity.

Some things that happened were absurd and too much.
Personally, I prefer couples who work through their problems rather than breaking up when things get tough. At times, there was also quite a bit of repetition throughout the story.

Overall, the Briar U series was a fun read!
