Intriguing
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Last Days of Holly Hayes is an engaging and suspenseful story navigating the lives (and love) of Holly and Dylan. The book wasn’t my typical read, but after the first couple of chapters, I couldn’t put it down. It’s a perfect combination of sweet romance, suspense and action. The characters of Holly and Dylan are well fleshed out and relatable. It was very interesting to see how their relationship changed throughout the story, with secrets coming to light and decisions needing to be made.
The story has a flip-over concept, which allows you to experience the story from both pov’s. It was my first time reading a book like this and I really enjoyed it. It adds depth to the story and its characters. Sandra J. Paul’s writing style is easy to follow and detailed. She makes scenes intriguing by having them be deep in conversation, while also adding the element of action and suspense. Every scene left you wanting more.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this book, although it’s not exactly my cup of tea.
