Lezersrecensie
Leuk en interessant zoals Atkinson altijd is!
Quite an entertaining spy novel, set in and around WW-II. But, somehow, it did not carry me away like her two previous WW-II novels, ‘A God in Ruins’ and ‘Life after Life’ which I thought were simply excellent. Reading her Author’s Note at the end, it was very interesting to learn that she composed the young woman, Juliet, and the group’s spy activities from what she read in archive documents, noting that Juliet was modelled after two real life MI5 spies. Enjoyable book!
