Intruiging story about timeloops
'If I see you again tomorrow' is a fantasy LGBTQ+ young adult book about timeloops! Clark is in high school and has been reliving the same boring Monday for 309 days. He is stuck in a timeloop. This makes him feel very lonely; he has actually accepted that he will never get out. Until day 310, the handsome and enthusiastic Beau appears and takes him on an unforgettable day full of 'errands'. When he discovers that Beau is stuck with him, he regains the willpower to look for a way to break out of the timeloop and enter the future with Beau. However, this does not go smoothly and he has to move mountains to gather information for their escape. When Beau then disappears from one Monday to the next and time is running out to get back, he reaches his lowest point. But Clark does not give up. Will he succeed in breaking out of September 19 in time and together with Beau?
The story literally remains exciting until the last page. You would want the book to never end. It is also so full of beautiful life lessons that make you think about your own life. The book stays in the back of your mind for a long time. I would be very excited if there was a sequel, because I am quite curious how Clark's life continues now and whether the people he 'befriended' in the time loop still remember this, how their relationships will develop, ...
