Not Kristins best, very predictable
Let me start by saying I am a big fan of Kristin Hannah. I loved all the books I have read of her, this one was a disappoinment though.
We meet Angie, a woman that has been trying to have a baby for years, and Lauren, a teenager in het senior year of high school, struggling with an absent mom and poverty.
Angie moves back to the village she was raised in when her marriage has fallen apart due to the baby stress. Her family owns a restaurant and it needs help.
Lauren needs a job and Angie hires her.
The whole story was very predictable. I knew from the start where this would go. Like a feelgood without the he/she love story but with a love story just the same.
