Crucial to read this one at least once in your life

I think I only now realise what a crucial book this is to at least read once in your life. When I read the book when I was younger, I remember that I didn’t understand the Little Prince as a character himself. He was young, sweet, adventurous but also serious (as serious as possible for a “young” Prince) in his own way. He describes the people he meets on different planets as “too serious” or “too busy with silly things that don’t matter in the end”. The way he describes humanity in its entirety baffles me, because he already knows at this young age that people change a lot when they grow up. As if they lose their “sparkle” by not living life as should be. I loved this approach because it made me think about life & all the difficult circumstances we are in these days (war Russia-Ukrain, high energy prices, everything becoming much more expensive..)
