Love this fantasy book

This story takes place in a world that is locked to the sun. The sun scorched the center part of the world. Then, a ring of livable world. Before you get to the dark side of the world. Where it's very cold and not livable.

We meet Katsi and Migo. Katsi is a shaman but does not live with her tribe.
Migo is the prince, brought up his whole life to hate and kill shamans.
Katsi is sick of all the killing and wants to see if she can do anything to stop it.
Migo is still hunting all the shaman people he can find.
Katsi warns Migo for the upcoming battle the shamans are planning, so he has time to prepare. And he is ready to fight till the end. Because he rather dies out on the battlefield than any other way.

If you read the book you will find out if he survives the battle. And if he or Katsi can bring peace. And at what cost this will be.

I love this story. It is very well written. This first part has an ending, but there are also some open parts that make me want to read book 2 now. No pressure, Brady.
