A dark romantasy that wil hold you from the beginning
Arc read. Peppermint and ash is a dark romantasy from Grace of Darkness.
The only thing that's keeping her alive is her blood, that once was her currency.
Kyit Vale was meant to die on the execution block. But the Empire sentenced her to something worse: chained to the knights who would bleed her dry before offering her mercy, she had to go to the haunted mountains on a suicide mission. She has to survive, betrayel, starvation and the terrifying hunger of her enemies- and allies.
Survival costs more then blood, it costs secrets, names and trust. Kyit stands before a terrible choice when the forbidden magic in her veins starts to stir.
What wil she do?
From page one the author nows how to hold you're attention. Her writing is mixed with poetry style. The describing of places, characters and all that's happening is very good detailed, so you can imagine how everything and everybody looks. The build up is good. Its a slow burn romantasy with some trigger warnings.
I enjoyed the book from beginning till end. Just love the way she writes. If you like dark romans mixed with fantasy you gonne love this one for sure. Can not wait to read more from her.
