Epic finale
I’ve been procrastrinating writing this review, because how can you describe greatness? Dance of Thieves was such an excellent book with all the feels, and Dance of Thieves actually managed to top that. It’s safe to say I have a new favorite series. This conclusion is all I wished for and more. Though Mary E Pearson managed to rip my heart to ribbons in I believe chapter 3. Why must you torment my babies so? Ok ok I kinda love getting all the feels and yelling at the book, don’t judge me. I cannot state how much I love this worldbuilding! The backstory of the Ballengers was so amazing, honestly if that could be like a new series I will be very pleased thank you very much. But it all made so much sense, how this world has emerged, and the shelter itself was brilliant.
And Jase, my precious Jase. He truly is a family patriarch and I love him for it. And Kazi, how she’s grown as a person! And the dynamics between those two, wow, fireworks. But also, so much love between family members, and the many facets of family, and where you belong. The themes are very rich, I love that in a book.
All in all, it’s an epic finale and an epic conclusion and I’ve fallen in love with this world and the Ballengers and I don’t want it to end.
