Billionaire romance
4⭐️ stars!
In this very typical, over-the-top, Billionaire romance, we follow Alice and Sebastian. Sebastian the new CEO of a large multinational. Alice his new secretary. Sebastian has been a playboy all his life, until he meets Alice. Alice had a rough past growing up and never got close to anyone.
They meet at the office and Alice hits her head so badly she gets a concussion. Sebastian goes into full alpha mode and takes her to the doctor. The doctor tells her she can't stay by herself for a couple of weeks. He offers her a place in his mansion. He falls in love with her instantly and tries everything for her to stay. In the beginning Alice is hesistant, but she can't resist Sebastian in this classic beauty and the beast trope.
The rest of the book explores their very physical relationship and some of the hardships they have to face, like dealing with stalkers, and trust issues, because Sebastian doesn't tell Alice everything to protect her, but when she finds out she gets pissed obviously.
The book ended on a cliffhanger with a little preview into the next one, I'm intrigued enough to read the next book in the series to see where the red thread goes.
