Lezersrecensie
Nice read, but doesn't live up to the expectations
This book is the fourth installment of the Murderbot-series.
Although going back to this world feels a bit like coming home, the story lacks something. Several things actually.
It lacks the element of surprise of getting to know a new world like in part 1 (All Systems Red).
It lacks the humour of an interesting sidekick like ART as in part 2 (Artificial Condition).
It lacks the amount of action and suspense we could experience in part 3 (Rogue Protocol).
Not that there wasn't any action or suspense at all.
But the first 60% of the book was a rather tame affair to the point that it became quite boring to read.
When the real action finally began, it was over too quickly and above all too easily.
