All about the werewolves

Part 8 in the Seven Deadly Veils series isn’t about Miranda and Remare, where almost all the other books were about, except one. This part is about Lizandra and Gavin, the friends and allies of Miranda and Remare. We shift from the world of vampires (and elementals) to the werewolves. I loved getting to know more about the werewolf world. And on why Liz has demoted Gavin and chosen a new alpha. This is (briefly) discussed in earlier books in the series, just as that the Red Claws are attacking the Black Claws. New characters are introduced, such as Brent and Victor. I liked learning more about Lizandra’s past and her motivations for her actions. However I want to know more about the werewolves, a separate series about the werewolves and the werewolf world would be welcome. I’m looking forward to reading part 9 in the Veil-verse, although dreading it also, since it’s the final part to the series. I don’t know if I’m ready for this series to end. This book was again a page-turner, just like the others in the series. The book builds up to the end battle, which is good.
