This is not a memoir

Fierces femmes and notorious liars is not a memoir, as the subtitle suggests (or is it?). The book is about a trans teenager who runs away from her home. It’s an autofiction (?) novel that plays with form and combines prose, poems, letters and a kind of theatre texts. It’s genre-bending, incorporating magical realism and coming-of-age elements. The book is funny, dark, lyrical and deep. It’s about community, violence and finding oneself.
