The first Christmas book of the season had to be one by Jenny Colgan and this book did not disappoint!

I’ve read the other books in the series as well and it was such a joy to return to Mure again. The island, the people, the businesses and all that combined with Christmas. So cozy and lovely.

There’s romance, some hardship, a great supporting community and just overall loveliness. The story flows well and had me giggling and sometimes a bit saddened (in a good way).

When you’re looking for a cozy Christmas story, this is a great book for you! However, I would advise you to read the other parts in the series first, so you know the persons and what happened before. You’ll miss some references if you don’t. But that’s not a hardship, since all books in this series are just as lovely!
