Good food, a hot chef/single dad and Dream Harbor, all ingredients for a cozy read!
She’s done it again! Returning to Dream Harbor is like soaking in a warm tub or sitting by the fire place with a cup of hot cocoa.

In The Strawberry Patch Pancake House we follow Archer and Iris. Archer is a renowned chef who just found out he has a daughter. Her mother has died in a tragic accident and he moves to Dream Harbor to get to know her and step up as a father. Iris is a local girl who has multiple jobs and a commitment issue. When she has to leave her house and needs a job someone suggests becoming a nanny for Olive, Archer’s daughter.
I mean the single dad trope combined with hot chef vibes is immaculate! And the spice is totally spicing. I just felt like the miscommunication trope was a huge part of the story and that’s not my favorite trope. Despite that I loved returning to Dream Harbor and reading about the cute girl that is Olive. Oh and all the food references made my mouth water!
Can’t wait for the next book in this series
