A Dream of Ice Cream

I love contemporary romances and what is better than supporting local authors!
The story is set in the Netherlands and I just loved reading about characters with very dutch names, doing very dutch things, like cycling, and walking to the grocery story
The story is written in Dual POV and we follow Bertina 'Tinus' and Mats. We learn that they used to be neighbours and date during high school. But when they broke up, because of his run in with the police, and his family moved away, Tinus decided to put all her attention on her studies. However, she decides to quit her studies and fulfill her dream to buy a food truck and travel around the country from festival to festival and having the best summer of her life.
She finds a too good to be true deal online and decides to go and check out a vintage ice cream truck. One impulsive decision later she is driving the truck home. Obviously she has noticed it has some flaws but she is positive she can fix the truck together with her dad. However, she won't even make it home, because the truck breaks down. She calls her dad for advice and he has a new girlfriend who happens to have a son who is a car mechanic. *Surprise, surprise* it's their old neigbour and the son is Mats.
Will Mats help her with the food truck? Will the truck be ready in time for the food truck festival to start? Will old flames be rekindled? Read it now!
